A new addition to the Q-series Xolo lineup is the Q500 smartphone that was unveiled recently.

The Xolo Q500 is a dual-SIM wallet friendly smartphone that comes with 4inch screen measuring 118.5 x 63 x 10.7mm in dimension. It is a compact phone with user-centric features targeted at Indian buyers.

The WVGA screen of Q500 with One Glass Solution technology has a resolution for 233ppi pixel density.

On the inside, it packs a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor with Adreno 203 GPU pairing to 1GB of RAM.

The phone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

An 1,450mAh battery powers the phone. It has a 5MP primary camera on the rear side capable of shooting 720p videos and a VGA unit adorns the front.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and FM radio.

The smartphone has 4GB on-board storage space and can be further expanded to up to 32GB through the microSD card.

A unique feature found on the device is the X-TransPic app that automatically translates Hindi text into English. The feature allows the translated text to be read out loud as well.
