The Xolo Play Tab with Tegra 3 quad-core processor has launched in India for Rs 12,999. This is second in line after Xolo tab which launched with a quad core Snapdragon processor some time back.

The tablet sports a 7inch IPS-LCD display which has 1280×800 pixels resolution power. The Tegra 3 mobile processor has four performance core and one battery saving core.

Targeted at hard-core gaming users, it packs a 12-core NVIDIA ULP GeForce graphics processing unit to support high-end gaming actions.

The overall weight of the device is 338gm which would offer a comfortable hold for long hours.

Xolo Play Tab comes with 8GB of on-board storage space, an expandable slot accommodates upto 32GB space.

The gaming tablet device is fueled by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

While the device has no rear camera, the front adorns a 2MP camera to support all selfies. The processor as such is paired to 1GB Ram.

A massive 4000 mAh battery capable of supporting 8 hours of music playback is found under the hood.

Connectivity on the device includes WiFi, Bluetooth, and micro USB.

A mojor drawback that might turn away users is the non-SIM facility, 3G internet access and rear camera.

XOLO Play Tab 7.0 marks the first tablet in the XOLO Play category of products, powered by NVIDIA Tegra. Similar to Xolo Play T1000 smartphone launched in July, the Tab delivers similar entertainment now on a bigger 7-inch screen.”
