Spice Telecom on Thursday launched its Pinnacle FHD  smartphone in India under a price tag of RS. 16,990.

The new handset is packed with a powerful 1.5 GHz Quad Core processor paired to 1GB of RAM.

The screen size meausres 5inch diagonally and has a resolution power of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The storage facility offered on the device is of 8GB which can be further expanded to 32GB via the microSD slot.

The device runs on Google’s latest mobile OS iteration Android Jelly Bean 4.2.

Similar to the other high-end models, the Spice Pinnacle FHD 8MP auto-focus rear camera along with dual LED flash.

The front gets a splendid 2MP camera which is good enough for self-portraits and video calling.

The device has 2100mAh Li-on polymer battery powering the device.

Other features on the Smartphone include Bluetooth 4.0, Proximity sensor, G-sensor, Light sensor, Intelligent Answer, Flip to Mute, Direct Call and GPS/AGPS.

The phone has dual-SIM facility and offers cloud storage by which a user will be able access data on multiple devices.

“The 1.5GHz Quad Core coupled with Full HD resolution is an industry redefining feature for the affordable segment.” said T M Ramakrishnan, CEO (devices), S Mobility Ltd.

The phone will be available in all retail outlets from July 20th.
