Sony’s recent unveiling USM-SA1 USB, a two-in-one flash drive device that is compatible with smartphones and tablets is getting released in India today.

Notably, global launch of it took place two weeks earlier missing out the third world countries however, now it is officially made available in India.

The Pen Drives come in three variants such as 8, 16 and 32GB with cover protection to avoid damage and contact of dust and debris.

The device is built with metal body to withstand rough use on a daily basis.

Sony has announced pricing of these three variants 8, 16 and 32GB at Rs 746, Rs 1,399 and Rs 2,633 respectively.

Sony Pen Drive is an outcome to fill the gap where users find it difficult to manage datas either by storing or copying between the devices.

They can be used with smartphones, laptops, tablets and desktops.

The flash drive will go easy on operating system from Android – Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean and also offer USB on-the-go (OTG) functionality.

The latest OS entrant Android 4.4 (KitKat) is not on the list though; Sony is working to make it compatible with KitKat as well.

Last but not the least, Sony’s Flash Drive are the first of it kinds!
