Sony had launched world’s smallest android tablet with screen size lesser than 7 inch in the country of Japan !

Dubbed as Xperia Z Ultra, the tablet presently will be available only in Japan starting this week at 52,000 yuan !

The launch of Xperia Z phablet phone happened in last year, which packed a 4G calling functionality.

This new model takes off the cellular antennas, making the tablet go on WiFi support only. Apart from this, the specifications equally match as its phablet counterpart.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra tablet display measures 6.4-inch diagonally and has stylus support.

It’s glass body is scratch resistant and the phone is waterproof.

A quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset paired to 2GB of RAM.

For storage, it has 16GB of on-board space that can be further expanded through microSD card slot up to 64GB.

It runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system.

Connectivity includes NFC, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. A 3,050mAh battery powers the device.

While Sony retained the whopping 8MP camera, it has done away with LED flash from this model.

The tablet is the first miniature model coming with screen size under 7-inch and second second tablet in the market at present, next only to the Xperia Tablet Z.
