Samsung Galaxy W789 a flip modeled smartphone had been launched by the south Korean manufacturer with dual touchscreen.

Not a bad thought from the Samsung folks; the idea to merge the past and present to deliver a flip model with dual touchscreens is not quite common now, this might invite some booming sales.

Unlike normal smartphones, the  Galaxy W789 features two 3.3-inch TFT touchscreens with 480 x 320 pixel resolution.

The Flip model keys like Back, Options and Home in the alphanumeric keypad are placed for the inner display. The other side has three buttons found on the screen.

It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system and is powered by a decent 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Samsung had made the phone dual-SIM compatible.

Connectivity options on the smartphone includes 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0.

For power it has 1,500mAh battery backing the device. The phone has an alphanumeric keypad and not notably it is the only such handset which is not using a QWERTY keypad.

For now only China market is getting the new Samsung W789 phone, there is no official word about launch in  other markets of the world.
