The next in line of Samsung Galaxy series flagship device is the S5 model that is anticipated to roll-out with iris scanning technology.

This is expected to take-on Apple’s finger scanning techonogly found in iPhone 5S.

According to the company’s mobile division  VP – LeeYoung hee the device is likely to be unveiled in April.

Speaking about the Galaxy Gear smartwatch he said, “more advanced functions, and the bulky design will also be improved.”

The smartwatch is also ready to make its debut alongside the smartphone.

The second half of this year will also see Samsung roll out its Galaxy Note – an updated version that is rumuroed to be getting a “three-sided display” to allow for visibility from multiple angles.

The VP went on to say Galaxy S4 may not have resonated with consumers as much as its predecessor.

Samsung plans to get back to basics to make improvements to offer better display and the feel of the cover.

As for the Galaxy S5 will get a new Android skin that will have thinner fonts and pastel color schemes.
