The Samsung Galaxy Note II launched six months ago and now rumours have started circulate about its successor. Within two months of its launch Samsung claimed to have shipped five million units. A big hit among smartphone lovers!

The Note II sports a AMOLED screen with dimensions at 151 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm, making it the taller and wider model available in the market as of now. It is equally important to mention it is easy to carry around the over sized device since it is weight less.

It came in three variants including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The Micro SD option offers the expantion of phone memory. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by the quad core processor.

The Note II measures 5.55inch making it wider than the Galaxy S3 but sources from the “The Korea Times” confirm the anticipated entrant will sport a 6.3inch screen, powered by recently announced Exynos 5 Octa processor. Apart from these available specs there is no other leakage.

The  Exynos 5 Octa processor from Samsung is something new to the technology world, unveiled recently at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 held in the USA. The next in line flagship devices from Samsung are expected to roll out using the latest processor. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy SIV model is also believed to sport the same processor.

The phabulet is expected to debut later this year. Ironically, the first version of Galaxy Note released in 2011 IFA Conference and following in the year 2012 was its predecessor model!
