The Galaxy Core Advance is the latest addition in Samsung’s smartphone lineup which is set to launch in India in the coming year.

The phone is a successor device to the original Samsung Galaxy Core that comes featuring 4.7 inch TFT display and 480 x 800 (WVGA) pixel resolution.

It’s dimensions measure 133.3 x 70.5 x 9.7 mm and weighs 145gm. The phone has a stylish coated back cover.

Unlike its other models, Core Advance has dedicated keys for voice recorder, camera, volume, menu, home and power functions.

A dual-core 1.2 GHz processor powers the device and is paired to 1GB of RAM.

As for the storage, Galaxy Core Advance has 8GB of space. It is further extend-able up to 64GB through microSD card.

An average 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash is found on the back of the smartphone.

Connectivity suite includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS and NFC.

The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,000 mAh battery fuels the device with power.

It will be available in White and Blue colours.

Some other features on the phone include Light Sensing technology, Instant Voice Recorder, Optical Scan and Screen Curtain.
