Mar 28, 13 Rumours Surrounding Google Nexus 5

The purported Nexus 5 – next in line to the Google Nexus 4 is expected anytime in the month of October by this year.  Recent rumors tip of that Google is once again depending on its trusted partner LG to manufacture the Nexus 5 devices as it did for the Nexus 4.

However, there is no official word from Google or LG at this Juncture!

As the name suggests, Nexus 5 is the 5th in Nexus series that would make its entry in the phablet category. The full HD 5inch screen is coming with a resolution power of 1920 x 1080 with a pixel density of 440ppi.

The Nexus 5 is getting all-new NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, on-board memory storage of 8 and 16GB that is non-expandable. Nexus 5 will get a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 3 MP front-facing.

The conflicting rumours are as follows, the device make likely sport a 16MP rear camera instead of the 13 MP, 3GB RAM instead of 2GB and a 2800 mAH or 3300 mAH battery capacity. Google is planning to give a bigger battery for the smaller device, it is quite clear that the device is aimed to stand for 15 long hours even without turning down the 4G.

As for the Operating System it is obvious Nexus 5 will run on Google’s own Android software but there are chances of it getting the latest one first.

Rumours spread like wildfire and tend carry a lot of things that are not real. As mentioned above, Google or LG haven’t acknowledged of any such things officially. It is always better to wait and see what is up ahead of all such allegations.
