Seems like the Finnish handset manufacturer is imperatively focusing on to gaining market prominence through-out the globe with its Lumia series of devices!

Adding feather to the cap, Nokia is ready to roll out Lumia 925 smartphone.

The Lumia 925 is a Windows – 8 based mobile that measures 129 x 70.6 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weighs only 139gm. The AMOLED capacitive touchscreen is 4.5 inch in diagonal and has a resolution power at 768 x 1280 pixels.

It is powered by Dual-core 1.5 GHz processor paired to 1GB of RAM. The Nokia Lumia 925 provides an  internal storage space of 16GB and through the microSD card slot, expansion of storage is possible upto 32GB.

The device comes in three color variants namely Black, White and Gray. It has a non-removable Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery that offers a talk time of 18 hours 20 min on 2G network and 12 hours 40 min on 3G.

The primary camera on the device is a classic 8 MP and features Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, autofocus and dual-LED flash. The secondary camera is fitted with 1.3 MP for video calling purpose.

The device uses a microSIM and connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth, microUSB, 2G, 3G and 4G.

The Nokia Lumia 925 is priced at $610 – an approximate figure of RS.34,000 in Indian Rupee. In the month of June the device will be rolled out to the Chinese and Japanese market for sale.

For the past three to four years, Apple and Samsung have been holding on to the first and second positions respectively and pushed Nokia down to number three or four. With a series of Lumia device launches Nokia aims to send ripples in the market and reclaim its past glory!
