Apr 10, 13 Micromax Launches Funbook P360 Priced Rs. 7049

Micromax has launched Funbook P360 with 7inch screen priced at RS. 7,049. It runs on Android Jelly Bean and comes loaded with educational content.

In recent time, the indegionus maker is often spotted in the limelight for its new launches; recalling its previously announcement at Canvas HD launch event on Feb 14th, Micromax stated that will launch 30 new devices this year. Seems like Micromax is living-up to its promise!

If the trend continues in the same pace, then Micromax is sure to catch-up with other leading smart-phone and tablet manufacturers in the market. The devices launched so far have come mixed; one day if we witness a high end smart-phone release the next day a low end smart-phone next rolls out and the latest one to come out is the P360 tablet.

What’s next in the pipeline of lauches, only Micromax can tell!

Couple of products made unofficial entries in the market, that is – Micromax deliberately let it go on sale in private e-commerce website without any official announcements or claims. The entry level tablet is also introduced in the same way.

There is no point in comparing the P360 with leading tablets like Apple iPad mini or Google Nexus 7. It is a secondary level tablet that should best suit for children and for educational purpose.

The Micromax Funbook P360 gets a 7-inch capacitive touch screen at 800×480 pixels resolution. It is loaded with reasonably powerful processor for its pricing namely the 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 single core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

Connectivity options does not include the 3G which is not quite a welcome for many. It has 2G with voice calling and WiFi for the internet access. It comes with 2 mega pixel rear and VGA front camera.
