LG had announced its latest flagship model with moniker G2. The dimensions of the new device measures 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9mm and comes in Black and White colour options.

The new device G2 has a 5.2-inch full-HD display at 1080 x 1920 resolution and 423 PPI  (pixels-per-inch).

It runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2  and comes packing a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor paired to 2GB of RAM.

The manufacturer plans to roll out its new device on 130 wireless carriers in the next eight weeks starting in South Korea followed by North America, Europe and other key markets.

There are two variants of smartphone to choose from namely 16GB and 32GB. The on-board storage of the device can be further expanded through microSD card.

An unusual placing of volume rocker and power button near the rear camera has been incorporated on LG G2. According to the maker, this move will be welcomed by users on big devices.

The software feature on the smartphone include Answer Me, Plug & Pop, Text Link, Slide Aside, and a Guest Mode.
