Lenovo – a big name in the destops and laptops world has shifted its focus to smartphones due to the recent sales slow down of the former and sudden boom of the latter.

In the year 2013, the Chinese manufacturer proved itself as a tough contender in the arena with series of launches.

Compared to the global performance it did well in the home market in-terms of sales and gathering huge set of audience.

The Lenovo 780 and K900 marked the beginning of Lenovo offerings to users bundled with good features, decent quality and fast performance at a relatively affordable price.

As for 2014, Lenovo heavily depends on its latest model Vibe X to tap wide range of audience.

The new flagship device will sell at a MRP price point of Rs 25,999, making it the affordable model for a full HD screen.

On the competition front, it will take on other models like Google Nexus 5 and Sony Xperia ZR.

Lenovo Vibe X has amazing looks with a splendid screen and sleek body. The smartphone is a light-weighing model.

The 5-inch screen offers it the status of phablet phone and is made of tough plastic with faux chrome finish.

It has 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution at 440 PPI.

The phone has volume rocker in the right and the power button to the left. The speakers on the device are loud.

An 1.5GHz MTK 6589T Quad-core processor powers the device backed by 2GB of RAM.

The Vibe X has internal storage space of 16GB and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The front is fitted with a 13MP camera and the rear gets a 5MP.

For connectivity, it has Wi-FI, Bluetooth, Headphone Jack 3.5mm and Micro USB slot.

A 2000mAh battery fuels the device.
