Lenovo released couple of smartphones dubbed as  P770 and P780 recently with whopping battery 3500 mAh and 4000 mAh respectively.

Both the handsets feature dual-SIM functionality and run on Android platform. For the kind of specifications that they roll out with, it is worthy of mention that they are moderate priced!

Lets take a closer look at their technical detials;

Lenovo P770

The  Lenovo P770 IdeaPhone was released in November 2012. The P770 has dimensions measuring 133 x 67 x 11.9 mm and weighs 161gm.

The handset runs on Android 4.1 OS with Lenovo’s custom UI on top. An user can add upto 9 home screens on the device and a widget called Lotus offers shortcuts for 5 applications. Lenovo calls it as IdeaDesktop.

The device uses a 4.5 inch, IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen supporting 16M colors. The resolution power of the display is at 540 x 960 pixels.

The phone has dual-SIM functionality (GSM+GSM) and accommodates Mini-SIM with dual standby feature.

On the inside, it packs a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 paired to 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of space as offered by the manufacturer and is expandable upto 32GB through microSD card.

A 5MP rear camera along with autofocus and LED flash is fitted and a 0.3MP front unit.

For power, it has an a Li-Ion 3500 mAh battery. It is capable of rendering up to 664 hours stand-by time and 29 hours of talktime.

Connectivity suite includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5 Headphone Jack, FM and microSD card slot.

Lenovo P780

The Lenovo P780 rolled out in the month of June this year. Its a dual-SIM phone as well, that comes with dimensions measuring 143 x 73 x 10 mm weighing 176 gm.

This device has a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which places it in the phablet phone category. The resolution power is at 720 x 1280 pixels.

A Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor coupled to 1 GB RAM powers the device. It runs Android 4.2 OS.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and microSD card slot.

A Li-Po 4000 mAh battery fuels the device, it is capable of offering up to 840 hours of standby time and up to 43 hours on 2G and up to 25 hours on 3G.
