Lenovo K900 Launching in India On May 10

Lenovo is looking forward to release its K900 in India by 10th of May. The device falls under the phablet category and is expected to turn the tables for Lenovo.

It will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS capacitive touch display and use an Intel’s dual-core Clover Trail+ processor (Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor) paired to 2GB.

Interestingly, the smartphone made its debut earlier this year at CES 2013 and only now it is planned for roll out.

According to sources, Lenovo has major plans for K900 to give it the needed marketing push. In India, the device will be on TV campaigns during the final stages of ongoing IPL premier.

The device is getting a solid on-board storage space of 16GB that is expandable upto 32GB via microSD slot. The device has a 13MP camera in the rear with with a new Sony Exmor BSI sensor and 2MP in the front.

It would feature a full HD display and is expected to ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. After the release is expected to compete with Samsung’s latest flagship device Galaxy S4. The device is likely to come out with a tag below RS.25,000.
