Lava has released a new tablet in the market at wallet-friendly price of Rs. 8,499. It is dubbed as Lava Z7C+ – a new addition to the Lava family of tablets, following Xtron, Xtron+, Connect and Z7S.

The tablet has a 7inch capacitive WVGA display with a modest resolution power of 800 x 840 pixels. It has  Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 512MB RAM clocking a speed 1.2GHz.

The operating system running on the  Lava Z7C+ is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The manufacturer hasn’t disclosed any details as to whether it is upgradeable to latest version.

For storage it has 4GB space which is further expandable through microSD slot up to 32GB.

The rear end of the device is fitted with a 2MP with the front getting a VGA. The highlighting  feature of the device is that it supports 3G calling.

The connectivity suite on Lava Z7C+ includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and 3G.

The best part of the tablet is its 3,000mAh battery which provides long lasting power.

Lava is a trusted name among millions who choose to buy budget-friendly smartphones. It joins the tablet race by offering cost-effective model with low-end specifications.

SIM supported tablets have been favoured by many in the recent times, seems like Lava ia all set to make use of this.

Some of the disadvantages buying Lava Z7C+ tablet is that it uses an average processor compared to recently launched tablets. It also uses an old version of OS and is unclear if it is upgradable.

The tablet is being rolled out in only one colour that is Classic silver.
