Jan 04, 13 JBL On Stage Micro II – Review

Apple iPhone and iPod lovers have always welcomed the supplement device that enhances the performance. In the line of such gadgets is the dock-able JBL speakers that is most trusted and liked by music lovers !

The  JBL On Stage Micro II is now four years old in the market; it is portable, compact, weightless and is battery operated. The audio quality of these speaker, the dockable design and lately updated shape give it a face-lift in comparison to its predecessors.

A slight change in the shape from the preceding models is agreeably a plus point to the Micro II. It is disk shaped and has a glossy black plastic with mesh speaker grill finish. The volume control up and down keys are found in the front and for the power button, it is placed in the rear.

At the bottom of the device is the compartment for four AAA batteries. The batteries are strong enough to last long for 24 hours solid use depending upon the volume. Higher the volume greater the power consumption and lower the volume lesser consumption. Apart from this, it also comes with a wall-wart AC adapter which plugs into a port on the back.

Other connectivities that are available are audio in and mini USB port for linking the PC or Mac. JBL also offers a wide range of dock adapters that slot into the top section and leave it suitable for your iPod nano, touch, classic or iPhone.
