Jul 24, 13 iBall Launches Andi 4Di – A Budget Friendly Smartphone At Rs 5,995

iBall has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone called the Andi 4Di priced at Rs 5,995. Notably, iBall has priced it way below the Rs.6,000 mark to tap a huge buyer base in India.

IBall is an indigenous manufacturer of computer peripheral, tablets and smartphones headquartered in Mumbai.

Some of the other models from iBall include Andi 4.7G Cobalt, Andi 4.5d Quadro, Andi 5Li, Andi 5L, Andi 4.5h, Andi 3.5KKe, Andi 3.5r and now Andi 4Di.

The phone arrives with modest specs for the kind of pricing it is rolling out at. It features a 4-inch IPS WVGA display and has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.

Under the hood it packs a Cortex A9 processor that clocks 1GHz speed paired to 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which might hurt a few who look for the latest iteration of the OS.

It is fitted with a decent 5MP camera in the rear and has a LED Flash next to it. The front has a VGA cam to support video chat and self portraits.

For storage, it comes with unconvincing 512MB on-board space of which only 150MB is accessible to the owner. This feature makes a user to depend on microSD card that offers expansion up-to 32GB of hoarding space.

The device has a decent 1700mAh battery. And the connectivity options on Andi 4DI include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS.
