The Taiwanese manufacturer HTC unveiled Butterfly S a 5inch phablet model alongside the Desire
600 handset.

The Butterfly S smartphone has already been launched in the taiwan market and is expected to roll out across Asia in the near time.

The phone shares similar features with predecessor model ‘HTC One’.

Notably the Butterfly S has a faster processor, improved camera and 250GB of free Dropbox storage.

The device sports a 5-inch screen and packs a 1.9-GHz Snapdragon 600 – a quad-core processor along side 2GB of RAM.

It runs on Android Jelly Bean and is loaded with massive 3,200 mAh high-capacity battery.

According HTC claims the device is capable of performing 3.5 days of continuous music playback.

The screen has full HD 1080p screen, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and quad-band HSPA/WCDMA radio.

The phone is available in Grey, white and red color variants. The phone features HTC BlinkFeed, BoomSound, and Sense TV features, as well.

For camera, it is fitted with 4MP in the rear which includes the UltraPixel technology and for the front it has 2.1MP.

The connectivity suite includes 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC.

Apart from HTC Butterfly S, the Desire 600 handset is also ready for roll out. The smaller device has a Snapdragon 200 1.2-GHz quad-core processor and 4.5-inch super LCD2 screen.
