The Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has launched its latest model called Desire 600 in India priced at Rs. 26,860.

The new device sports a 4.5 inch Super LCD 2 display with 540 x 960 pixel resolution and 245 ppi.

It is loaded with quad-core processor that clocks a speed of 1.2GHz supported by 1GB of RAM.

The device offers 8GB of on-board storage space for an user and further expansion is possible through microSD card slot up-to 64GB.

It also has comes with free Dropbox storage option of 25GB.

The Desire 600 has 1.6 MP shooter front camera and an 8MP in the rear with LED flash. For power it uses a 1860 mAh Li-Polymer battery and has dual-SIM functionality.

Priced at Rs 26,860 it will directly compete against the Google Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and Sony Xperia SP in the Indian market.

Connectivity features include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC.

Speaking on the launch, Faisal Siddiqui, country head, HTC India, said, “The HTC Desire 600 dual sim combines speed and easy multitasking with the truly innovative HTC BlinkFeed home screen. The result is an affordable mid-range phone that sets the standard for its class, keeping the busiest user up-to-date at a glance and offering them the power and range of features to switch between work and play.”
