HTC Butterfly S has been listed officially on its Indian website. The new model was announced last month and as per manufacture reports it would feature similar technologies that were showcased earlier in its flagship handset HTC One.

By far, the company sources haven’t disclosed about the phones pricing details or the official phone launch.

The listing on the Indian company website confirms that the first launch covers India too.

As for the specifications, Butterfly S packs a 5inch screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 441ppi pixel density.

It is powered by Snapdragon 600 processor coupled to 2GB of RAM that clocks a speed of 1.9GHz.

The HTC Butterfly S has 16GB of flash memory and supports expansion up to 64GB through the microSD card slot.

The manufacturer also offers 25GB of free Dropbox storage along with the phone.

The 4MP rear camera of Butterfly S incorporates UltraPixel technology and gets a LED flash, the front is loaded with 2.1MP.

The connectivity suite on the new phone has 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC.

As for the software it has Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) along with Sense user interface offered by the manufacturer.

The pricing details as such aren’t available however, notably its predecessor version is the highly priced Android phone in India at Rs 45,500.

The new device is expected to compete against LG Optimus G Pro, Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and its own HTC One.
