The Indian tablet market is quite big to bet for, this is one of the vital reasons to why tablet makers around the globe eye the sub-continent to launch their products. Joining the club lately is the Google Nexus 10 that is out in India at a price point for Rs. 29,999.

The official website play store after listing its Nexus 5 and 2nd-gen Nexus 7 has come-up with Nexus 10 with the above mentioned price tag.

Notably, it took a year since the launch of Google Nexus 10 to find its way in to India. It is the 16GBvariant that is priced for Rs. 29,999 as for the 32GB the pricing hasn’t been revealed yet.

The device comes under Google branding made by Samsung.

The 10.1 inch screen has 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution at 299ppi – pixel density. Powering the system is a dual-core 1.7GHz processor with 2GB RAM.

It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and will definitely get the latest KitKat 4.4 update. Being a Google product it comes packed with Chrome, Gmail, Play Music, Play
Books, Play Movies, the Play Store application, YouTube, Currents, Google+, Maps, and People.

The Google Nexus 10 sports a 5MP rear camera and 1.9MP front camera.

A 9,000mAh battery fuels the device, it is capable of 9 hours of video playback, 90 hours of audio playback, 7 hours of web browsing, and 500 hours (20.8 days) of standby time.

For connectivity it offers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. There are no colour variants, it comes only in Black.
In the Indian market, the tablet will compete against Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Apple iPad Air, Nokia Lumia 2520 and Sony Xperia Tablet Z, though it is much cheaper than them.
