BlackBerry once a most craved phone by millions is now forcing itself to make a major come-back in to the smartphone world by trying every possible way.

In one of the recent moves it had announced its latest Q10 model in India powered BB10 priced at Rs. 45,000. Since the pricing was a matter of concern to many the phone hasn’t done well in terms of sales.

The Canadian manufacturer is now planning for another launch with its Q5 model that has been specially developed for growing markets like India.

BlackBerry Q5 is all set to release on 16th of July this month under a price tag of RS. 25,000.

Lets take a look at the details of the phone to find out if it would sustain the race and matches the specifications for its pricing.

The phone design as such is similar to the Q10 model, it has a physical QWERTY keyboard which is welcomed by many users who hate typing on smartphone screen. BlackBerry taps this space for sure!

The phone is of plastic build and it is quite unclear of now as to what quality has been used by the manufacturer.

The device is likely weigh under 100gms that offers easy portability.

The display measures 3.1inch diagonally and has a resolution power of 720 x 720pixels at 329 pixels per inch.  The screen on Q5 is LCD TFT unlike Q10′s SAMOLED.

The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor that operates with 1.5 GHz dual-core CPUs paired 2GB of RAM. No wonder, it should offer smoother sail for users than the other comparative models.

The on-board storage capacity offered by the manufacturer for the device is 8GB and it is further expandable up to 64GB through the microSD card.

BlackBerry Q5 uses a whopping 2180 mAh battery for power and is non-removable.
