The wait is over for BlackBerry Q10 lovers in India as the handset launched on Thursday under a price tag of RS. 44,990.

The Canadian manufacturer is rolling out its device slightly over priced in to the Indian market with great expectations.

Interestingly, the key-board touting handset is the second in line device that runs manufacturers own Operating System called the BlackBerry 10.

The 3.1-inch touch screen is decorated with QWERTY keyboard below. The Super-AMOLED display has a resolution power of 720 x 720 pixels and 328ppi pixel density.

It comes packed with 1.5GHz processor alongside 2GB RAM. The manufacturer is generous to offer 16GB of on-board storage and 64GB through microSD slot.

The rear side of the chassis is fitted with 8MP and a 2MP for video calling purpose on the front. It has a 2,100mAh battery for power.

The connectivity suite on the phone includes 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 NFC and microUSB 2.0.

The cost at which BlackBerry Q10 is releasing well matches with Apple iPhone5 and HTC Butterfly. The device is anticipated to compete against them as well.

The phone will be available in Black and White colours.
